[Nagasaki Champon]
It was originally invented by the owner of the Chinese restaurant Shikairo, originally from Fujian Province, to help Chinese exchange students gain nutrition, and is now known as a gourmet dish that represents Nagasaki.

Shikairo is also home to Japan's only Champon Museum.

In Nagasaki, there are two types of noodles, thick and thin, and like champon, they originated from Shikairo.

Originally, it was made with thick noodles, but due to the time and effort required for cooking, and the fact that there is less soup to spill during delivery, a style of putting thickened ingredients on thin noodles was established, and both became popular.
