[Okinawa] Nago City: A famous cherry blossom spot with a panoramic view of the city and the sea

Nago Castle Park, home to the ruins of Nago Castle, has been selected as one of Japan's 100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots.

Nago Castle Park, located in northern Okinawa Prefecture, is a park where you can see views of the city of Nago and the beautiful East China Sea from the observation deck near the top.

The winter cherry blossoms are in full bloom from late January to early February, making it a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Okinawa Prefecture.

You can stroll along the approximately 2-kilometer promenade lined with bright pink winter cherry blossoms.

We also recommend the pedestrian-only suspension bridge "Sakura Bridge" located within the park grounds.

In addition to the cherry blossoms, you can also enjoy the lush greenery of the park, which is unique to a tropical country.

The grounds are very large, so if you have time, be sure to visit.
