Atsuta Shrine (Nagoya)

Atsuta Shrine enshrines the legendary Kusanagi Sword and is one of Japan's most important shrines. Be sure to check the official website for updates on when the Kusanagi Sword will be on display!

The shrine covers a vast area surrounded by lush forests, creating a serene atmosphere as you walk along the approach. I made a special effort to purchase an omamori (amulet) and an ema (wooden plaque), wrote down my wishes, and hung them on the prayer wall.

It's recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes to fully immerse yourself in the sacred ambiance.
