Magome-juku on the Nakasendo Road.

Take a bus from Nakatsugawa Station for about 30 minutes to Magome-juku. At the entrance, on the left-hand side, there is a visitor center where you can store your luggage or send it to Tsumago-juku. It's usually not crowded and incredibly beautiful. There are some small shops selling crafts, sake, and other items. There's also a delicious soba noodle shop. You can buy sake here, especially from the small shops a bit further up. There's an old lady's shop that sells sake very cheaply.
