Nong Saeng St. Anne Cathedral
Address - Tambon Nai Mueang, Amphoe Mueang Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom Province
Ambience/Location - After the previous post for my hometown in Nakhon Phanom Province, I took you to see the lights of the old governor's mansion. Then we went to another spot, which is the Nong Saeng St. Anne Cathedral. The history is that it is an old Roman Catholic church built in 1926, which is almost 100 years old now.
It is a church located on the banks of the Mekong River. It is in the same area as St. Joseph Nakhon Phanom School, which used to be called Santyanan School. But before that, I remember that it taught from kindergarten to junior high school. During Christmas, there are decorations and lights in front of the church and various points in the temple. There is also a Christmas star parade tradition that will be held on December 25. If anyone misses the actual parade day, there will be a parade float parked in front of the church for tourists to enjoy. The decorations in front of the church will be until mid-January. Nong Saeng St. Anne Cathedral In the evening, the weather is cool to cold. It is recommended to wear a sweater. Taking pictures is very beautiful, especially at night when there are not many people. The highlight here is the lights hanging from the large trees. Taking portrait photos is great.
In the middle of the lawn, there will be a large pile of gifts along with the numbers 2025 Happy New Year. Free admission, no charge. Parking is available on both sides of the road.
