One-Day Foodie Trip in Nakhon Si Thammarat

Start your day by taking the earliest flight from Don Mueang Airport directly to Nakhon Si Thammarat. Upon landing, head straight to the famous dim sum restaurant, Kopi. We visited the Ocean branch, which had fewer crowds, so there was no long wait. After breakfast, enjoy the natural beauty of Lan Saka. On the way back to the city, stop by Chaiyarak, a well-known restaurant for its rice noodles. Don’t miss their fried chicken—it’s absolutely delicious!

Next, visit the city’s iconic Phra That Temple to pay your respects. For lunch, head to the renowned Captain Seafood restaurant. A must-try dish is their Crab Curry with Betel Leaves, which is rich and flavorful.

In the evening, since it was a Saturday, we explored the market near the city wall. Later at night, we enjoyed tea at Bang Bao Tea Shop. This itinerary makes for a perfect one-day trip that’s easy to follow. Before heading back the next morning, stop by the famous Thai Ocha for their chicken biryani, and then catch your flight back to Don Mueang.
