✈️ Nakhon Si Thammarat, you can visit it in just one day!

Early in the morning, we flew directly to Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport. The air was crisp, with a hint of southern sea and a hint of mist. Upon landing, we headed straight to our first mission of the day—hot dim sum at Tang Kieu Te Dim Sum. 🥟
Wow… the tables were full, but the locals smiled sweetly, “Sit here!” A wide variety of dim sum was available, with a relaxed approach. Pork dumplings, hot rice porridge, and strong tea were all a welcome morning.

After we were full, it was time to breathe in the fresh air. We drove up to Khiriwong, a village known for having the best air in Thailand. 🌿 The sound of flowing water, lush greenery, and a stroll along the wooden bridge provided a truly natural experience. For cafe lovers, there's a charming coffee shop by the stream where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a pleasant view.

At noon, our stomachs started to growl, so we headed down to Kanom Jeen Muang Kon. 🍜 A variety of curries, including coconut milk curry, chili paste, and fish entrail curry, were served with fresh, authentic southern-style vegetables. We ate until we were sweating, and the deliciousness was enough to make us cry.

Then, we went to pay our respects at the temple and pray for blessings. Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan 🛕, a symbol of Nakhon Si Thammarat. After paying respects to the chedi, don't forget to buy some selected mangosteens, a signature fruit of Nakhon Si Thammarat. These sweet and crunchy mangosteens are incredibly delicious.

Before returning, we ended our trip in auspicious fashion at Wat Chedi (Ai Khai) 🙏. We lit incense sticks and prayed for a prosperous life, along with offerings of toys, flowers, incense, and candles. The atmosphere was lively and filled with devotees.

End the day with a full stomach, a full heart, and merit to take home. 💛
