Nakhon Si Thammarat is another secondary city worth visiting, boasting beaches, mountains, delicious food, and must-see spiritual destinations.
Today, we'll take you on a 3-day, 2-night trip to Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Day 1
- On the first day, we chose to stay in Sichon. We checked in at Issara Beach Resort Sichon, a lovely beachfront resort.
- We went out for dinner at Khanom Seafood, Branch 2. This branch is right on the beach.
Day 2
- After checking out, we drove to Wat Chedi (or Ai Khai) to pay our respects and make merit.
- We continued our visit to the famous dim sum restaurant in Nakhon Si Thammarat, a temple revered by the people of Nakhon Si Thammarat.
- Bang Bao Tea Shop, located opposite Wat Phra Mahathat, is a must-try roti spot. When you're in the South, you have to try the roti. There's so much to choose from.
- Check in at "The Sky Roof Kiriwong," a great location with an amazing view. We're staying in Kiriwong tonight.
- For dinner, we had a delicious meal at Camping Moo Kratha, a great restaurant with a great view. I absolutely loved it!
Day 3
- Kiriwong Morning Market, only open on Mondays and Fridays. Delicious food at reasonable prices.
- Ban Kiriwong Bridge, Khlong Tha Dee, a must-see check-in spot for photos.
- Kiriwong Suspension Bridge, whether you take photos from below or on the bridge, is beautiful. There are always kids playing in the water here.
- Good Time Cafe, a chill cafe in Kiriwong. Their melon juice is delicious.
- A hidden spot with no name. Drive straight into the village. There's parking for about two cars on the side of the road, right at the rocky spot.
- Auntie Kiew's Khanom Jeen, a must-try restaurant.
- Hat Khanom-Mu Ko Thale Tai National Park, the view here is absolutely stunning.
- Khanom-Sichon Seaside Road
