We made a stop at Bridge Station Rikarikawarumi after our visit to Kouri Island, and what a pleasant surprise it was. Nestled right at the foot of Warumi Bridge in Nakijin, this rest stop offers more than just refreshments—it gives you sweeping panoramic views of the sea and the iconic bridges connecting Yagaji and Kouri islands. If you love scenic pit stops, this is a gem.
We ordered their tropical burger and fish burger, and while they won’t win culinary awards, they were satisfying and tasty—especially when paired with crispy onion rings that had a real sweet-onion flavor. The terrace seating was breezy and calming, and it felt great to just sit back, sip a drink, and enjoy the view. The café isn’t huge, but it’s clean, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxing break.
The staff were friendly and spoke enough English to make ordering easy. Food is freshly made, so there’s a short wait—but honestly, you won’t mind with that view in front of you.
There’s also a small souvenir area selling local Okinawan goods, snacks, and crafts—good for a quick browse. Parking was easy and ample.
All in all, it’s a spot worth visiting if you’re driving around northern Okinawa. Not a full destination, but definitely a memorable stop along the way.
