Stroll through Jinling City with this multi-day travel guide

We've carefully planned a multi-day tour of Nanjing for you, connecting historical culture and natural scenery, and taking into account both in-depth and leisure experiences:

Day 1: Zhongshan Scenic Area

In the morning, visit Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and the Music Stage, climb the steps to overlook Jinling City, and feed pigeons under European-style buildings. In the afternoon, stroll along the French parasol tree-lined Lingyuan Road, and visit Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum and the Meiling Palace. Day 2: Cultural Tour

In the morning, immerse yourself in the Nanjing Museum, and be sure to see the jade burial suit and other treasures of the museum. In the afternoon, visit the Presidential Palace and the Nanjing City Museum. In the evening, listen to cross-talk in Laomendong, visit Librairie Avant-Garde, and taste local snacks.

Day 3: Qinhuai Scenery

During the day, climb the Zhonghua Gate castle and explore the Grand Bao'en Temple. In the afternoon, take an in-depth tour of the Confucius Temple-Qinhuai River area, visit the Jiangnan Imperial Examination Museum and Wuyi Alley, and take a night cruise on a painted boat to enjoy the light show. Day 4: Integration of City and Scenery

In the early morning, visit Jiming Temple to admire the cherry blossoms (in spring), and go boating on Xuanwu Lake. In the afternoon, stroll along the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and visit the Yihua Road Republican Architecture Complex.

Day 5 (Optional)

Route A: Niushou Mountain, visit the shocking Usnisa Palace; Route B: Qixia Mountain to admire the maple leaves (in autumn), and Yanziji to view the river scenery.

Tips: The subway is convenient. It is recommended to buy sightseeing bus tickets for the Zhongshan Scenic Area. The Nanjing Museum and Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum need to be reserved in advance. There are limited beautiful sceneries such as cherry blossoms and red leaves in different seasons. Recommended souvenirs include sweet-scented osmanthus duck and Yunjin brocade. Slow down and savor the charm of Jinling, and you will easily encounter surprises.
