The Nanjing Ming Palace, adorned with ginkgo trees, is just too romantic🍂 The red walls and golden leaves are a perfect match, truly living up to the nickname "Little Forbidden City of Nanjing."
📍Nanjing Ming Palace Ruins Park
311-3 Zhongshan East Road
🕰️ 6:30 AM - 8:30 PM (Last entry at 8:00 PM)
As an annual limited visual feast, the red walls, glazed tiles, and ginkgo trees here are simply a perfect combination! Although currently only the ginkgo tree in front of the Dacheng Hall shows the most obvious color change, it looks amazing against the blue sky📸 It’s recommended to pick a sunny afternoon when sunlight filters through the leaves casting mottled shadows on the red walls—every shot is a masterpiece✨
Useful tips:
1. It’s recommended to wear light or warm-colored clothes for ginkgo photos; beige knits and camel coats look great.
2. Bring some small props like an oil-paper umbrella or folding fan, which perfectly match the atmosphere here.
3. The light between 3-4 PM is the gentlest; backlighting the ginkgo will make it glow.
4. Nearby attractions: The Nanjing Museum is just a 5-minute walk away, so you can check in at both spots together.
