Immerse Yourself in the Romantic Pink Blossoms of the Pink Shower Tree

The Pink Shower Tree, native to Thailand and Southeast Asia, is also known as the "Thai Cherry Blossom." It has a poetic nickname, "Rain of Peach Blossoms Tree," and boasts a blooming period of up to 45 days. When in full bloom, the tree is adorned with pale pink flowers and peach-colored buds, creating a dazzling display reminiscent of a cascade of stars or a gentle starry rain.

In recent years, the Pink Shower Tree has become a popular ornamental plant and street tree in central and southern Taiwan. The Ershui Pink Shower Trees are planted along the Ershui Bicycle Path, particularly near the Yuanquan section, close to the Jiji Railway Line. The trees are concentrated in front of the Yuanquan Police Station, with about 60 trees lining a 500-meter path. When in full bloom, the pink blossoms cover the trees like clouds, resembling cherry blossoms but with an added touch of vibrancy, making them a favorite among flower enthusiasts in recent years.

The Ershui Pink Shower Trees are often compared to the cherry blossoms along the Alishan Railway. During the blooming season, they attract a great deal of attention, drawing visitors from all over to witness the breathtaking beauty of the blossoms and the timeless moment when they meet the passing trains.
