Many people have visited Xitou, and right next to it is the Monster Village, making it easy to enjoy two attractions in one trip! However, this time my experience was completely different from previous visits, as the rain added a mysterious and fantastical veil to Xitou and the Monster Village.
Xitou Nature Education Area is filled with layers of cedar and bamboo forests, where raindrops falling on the leaves create a natural melody. Walking along the elevated skywalk feels like strolling among the clouds. The air becomes even fresher, as if you’ve stepped into a misty and enchanting forest wonderland!
On the way back, I stopped by Monster Village for dinner. The village in the rainy evening exudes an eerie and mysterious vibe. Red lanterns, wooden buildings, and monster statues seem to come alive in the damp air. It feels as though a monster might suddenly emerge from the mist at any moment! The atmosphere is reminiscent of a secluded mountain village in Japan.
