A very popular hotel that is also known as a "#museumwhereyoucanstay",

I went to Naoshima for the first time because I wanted to visit #BenesseHouse.

#Naoshima, known as the island of art, has many outdoor art pieces and art museums on the island, and is a wonderful place where nature and art blend together 🥹

fly to Kagawa or Okayama✈️

and take a ferry from there🚢

※You can also board the ferry by car

There are buses and rental bicycles to get around the island, but

personally, even though it's an island,

it's surprisingly far to get around, so

I think a car is the most convenient way to get around.

There are many places to stay, but this time I went to #Benessehouse, which I've always wanted to stay at!

It's a wonderful inn where you can experience art while staying, and it's really beautifully designed by #TadaoAndo.

There are four buildings, but since it was summer, I stayed in the beach building 🏖.
The beach in front is only available to guests, so you can take your time looking at it, and in the middle of summer, you might even go swimming in the sea 😂

There are many art museums, but guests at Benesse House can view the #BenesseArtMuseum
and even into the evening!

I think the only museum that cost an additional fee was the #ChichuArtMuseum.
And then, for me, this Mediterranean Museum was truly amazing!! !!! !!! !!! !!! Photographs were not allowed, so I didn't include any, but it was one of the best three art museums I've ever been to.

Anyway, it was a beautiful and heart-filling place~
Naoshima is a wonderful place that everyone should visit at least once😭✨

I recently visited Naoshima, an art island in Kagawa, to stay at the famous Benesse House, a hotel that combines art and nature. The island features outdoor art and museums, and getting around is easiest by car. I stayed at the Beach House, which has a private beach for guests. Benesse House guests You can visit the Benesse Art Museum, Lee Ufan Museum, and Valley Gallery for free, with an extra fee for the stunning Chichu Art Museum. Naoshima is a beautiful, inspiring destination that I highly recommend!
