🏮 Kasuga Taisha Weekend Escape: 2 Days of Spiritual Serenity in Nara

Located in the grounds of Kasuga Taisha Shrine's main shrine (Omiya), this wisteria trellis is over 700 years old. It was given this name because in early May the flower clusters grow to over 1m and rub against the sand. Kasuga Taisha Shrine has long been famous for its wisteria, and the "downward wisteria" is even used as the shrine's crest.
The small but beautiful purple wisteria was very beautiful.
