When we travel to Taipei, we usually go to different night markets for snacks and milk tea! Today, our family decided to appreciate Taiwan from another angle and explore the Yehliu Geopark. This geopark is mainly composed of sedimentary sandstone, then through the sea breeze, sea water, nature's miraculous carvings, resulting in a series of extremely stylish natural stone sculptures including ice cream stone, love heart stone, queen head stone and so on. The park is located in New Taipei City, north of Taipei. It takes about 50 minutes by car from the Taipei City Center Hotel, which is very convenient. When we came to the park gate, we first took a floor plan and brief introduction of Yehliu Geopark to make it easier to find the different stone sculptures in the park. There is also a large map erected next to the entrance, so you can slowly check the attractions you want to enjoy. After a short walk along the seaside, we can see many different stone sculptures. The food-loving brother loves the mushroom stone, which looks a bit like a tea tree mushroom from a distance. The sister is the most loving stone. She also found some small fossils in the ground next to the stone sculpture! Families and friends who are preparing to travel to Taipei, you may wish to come to Yehliu Geopark with your children to enjoy this magnificent natural creation!
