#Taipei Itinerary
Day 1: Quiet Chapel
In the morning, I took the MRT to Tamsui and came to the A&S Chapel in the sea breeze. This century-old church is hidden in an alley, and its simple design of red bricks and white walls reveals traces of time. As you step into the hall, the sunlight shines through the stained glass, casting colorful shadows, and the tranquil atmosphere makes you hold your breath. The sound of the organ in the chapel sounded slowly, as if telling the history and humanistic feelings of Tamsui. In the afternoon, I tasted the local specialty "Tamsui A-gei" in a nearby cafe, then took a walk along the river bank and watched the sunset gradually dye the sky red.
Day 2: Natural scenery where mountains and sea meet
In the morning, head to Fort San Domingo to experience the ancient architecture and colonial history. Then take a boat to Fisherman's Wharf to feel the sea breeze and overlook the Guanyin Mountain on the opposite bank. For lunch, we chose a small restaurant on the old street by the river to taste fresh seafood. In the afternoon, I climbed up the Lover's Tower and overlooked the Tamsui River and the vast sea view. My heart was filled with awe and emotion for nature. This two-day journey not only allowed me to appreciate the profoundness of faith, but also allowed me to find the long-lost tranquility and romance in the embrace of the mountains and seas.
