[Taipei] A tourist destination where you can also enjoy the sea

Asahi Huusu Tamsui is a charming little dessert shop tucked near Tamsui Old Street. The cute Japanese-style storefront immediately caught my eye, and although the shop is small, it’s clean, cozy, and full of warm, inviting vibes — definitely Instagram-worthy!
I ordered the blueberry yogurt and the original cream korokke, and both were absolutely delightful. The blueberry yogurt had just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess, with fresh fruit and a smooth, creamy texture that felt really refreshing. The original cream korokke, on the other hand, was a real standout — crispy on the outside, warm and creamy on the inside. It was rich but not overly heavy, and perfect as a snack while exploring the area.
One thing to note: their opening hours are only until 7:30 PM, so I recommend visiting earlier, especially on weekends when it can get quite busy. The ordering process was quick and smooth, and the staff were very friendly and patient in explaining the menu.
Overall, I had a great experience here. If you enjoy Japanese-style desserts or are just looking for a cozy spot to grab a treat while walking around, this is one of the best choices!
