I went to Jiufen during a business trip🚗
I didn't have much time so I took a taxi.

▷18:00 Departure from Taipei City
(Stuck in traffic, took about 2 hours)
▷20:00 Arrival in Jiufen
Wandered around the city for about an hour
▷21:00 Departure from Jiufen
The roads were clear on the way back, so it was smooth
▷Arrived in Taipei City before 22:00

By the way, most of the shops in Jiufen close at 20:00🥺
So, when I arrived, most of them were closed💦
There were a few shops open, but they were quite few.

The city was lit up, so I was able to see the night view✨
Also, most of the tourists had gone home by 8pm, so I was able to take photos with very few people around📸
I think that was good✨
The taxi cost about 1200 NTD one way, so it was quite expensive💰
I think taxis are the most convenient for people who don't have much time☺️
If there is a shop you want to go to in Jiufen, go before 8pm⚠️
I think it gets pretty crowded in the evening, so if you want to take photos without being disturbed by people, I recommend going around 8pm📸
