Houtong Cat Village, a cat lover's paradise

A cat lover's paradise nestled amidst beautiful nature, the atmosphere is tranquil. Everywhere you walk, you'll spot cats. There are so many cats in the village, you won't even be able to pet them all. When we went, we didn't bring our own cat treats, so we stopped by the village's owner to support him. (But if you bring your own, it's better to bring your own, as it's quite expensive at 100 NTD for 3 packets.)

Getting there is easy! Take the TRA train to Houtong. This trip, however, we missed the train and got off at Ruifang, which required a bit of a stop. It was a wonderful experience, too, as we found a delicious bubble tea shop. The uncle stopped by to chat with us, even though he couldn't understand Chinese. He was in a great mood.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a plethora of chubby cats. They all looked healthy, with fluffy fur and bright eyes, seemingly accustomed to tourists. Some even sat waiting to be petted, playing and entertaining nonstop. It's a place that makes cat lovers' hearts swell. The nature is so wonderful, it makes us want to come back again.
