The moment I arrived in Nice, I felt as though I had finally reached a place I had been waiting for a long time. There was no need for a complicated itinerary or to visit all the famous tourist spots. Simply gazing at the sea, strolling through the alleys, and feeling the breeze made this trip truly special.
The Promenade des Anglais, which runs parallel to the beach, offers a different charm every day. In the morning, it is serene; in the afternoon, lively; and in the evening, romantic with the sunset. The blue chairs along the promenade, where travelers can sit and gaze at the sea, became my little sanctuary. I found myself sitting there multiple times a day without even realizing it.
The alleys of the Old Town are places where time seems to flow slowly. The scent of lavender, the crunch of croissants, and the yellow walls reflecting the sunlight—nothing was particularly extraordinary, yet everything felt precious. The sound of an accordion echoing through the alleys was so beautiful that it made me stop in my tracks.
The view of Nice from Colline du Château was the Europe I had always dreamed of. The harmony of the sea and red rooftops became an unforgettable scene, and the tranquility I felt in front of that view will stay with me for a long time.
Nice is not a city you go to do something; it’s a city where you simply want to be.
