Udo Shrine on the Pacific Coast, a secret place between the mountains and the sea

Udo Shrine is a shrine located on the coast of Miyazaki, hidden among the cliffs.
Next to it is the blue Pacific Ocean, coupled with the big rocks on the sea and the red-orange shrine buildings, every corner is so beautiful.

In front of the Pacific coast railing, there is a "Turtle Rock"
Here you can throw the lucky stones sold in the shrine. If you throw them into the hole in the turtle rock, it symbolizes that your wish will come true.

The rabbit is the divine messenger here. There is also a golden rabbit that can be touched in the main hall of the cave.
After praying for a wish, touching the rabbit will help you realize your wish.
There is also a lactose candy sold here, which is said to help pregnant women produce milk more easily after giving birth. It’s super special~

There is also a set of hand-operated hands at the sales office, one big and one small, for parents to bring with their children, symbolizing blessings for the children to grow up healthily and smoothly.

The transportation to Udo Shrine is not convenient.
There are buses available, but they are very infrequent. Please check the timetable in advance.
It is recommended that if you can drive yourself, renting a car will be the most convenient for a day trip to Miyazaki.
