A Visit to the Magnificent Nikkō Tōshōgū Temple and Shrine

We explored the Nikkō Tōshōgū Temple and Shrine in Japan, a place that perfectly blends history and beauty. Dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, it’s a lavish complex of colorful buildings adorned with gold leaf and intricate carvings.
The highlight was the Yomeimon Gate, an ornate structure so detailed it felt like a masterpiece. We also admired the famous Three Wise Monkeys carving a gentle reminder of the proverb “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.”
