Okayama Castle is said to have been built by Ukita Hideie in 1597.

The beautifully arranged castle also has souvenir shops and cafes.

Of course, it's nice to see the whole castle from the entrance, but it's also great to see Okayama Castle across the Asahikawa River from the Okayama Korakuen side.
