Lijiang Old Town

Lijiang Old Town is a beautiful ancient town with stone streets, wooden houses, and small canals. It’s over 1,000 years old and full of local charm. I enjoyed walking through the narrow lanes, trying Yunnan snacks, and watching people play music or sell crafts.

You can visit Mu’s Residence, a big home from the old Naxi rulers, or climb up Lion Hill to see all the rooftops and the snow mountain in the distance. Just nearby, Black Dragon Pool has a great view of the mountain too.

There’s no fee to enter the town, and 2–3 hours is perfect to explore and relax.
