This museum introduces the nearly 1,400-year history of Osaka City.
Original scale restored buildings from ancient times to the Middle Ages, recent centuries, modern times and present times
Miniature models, videos and rich historical materials provide a more immersive experience
Opening hours: 9:30am to 5:00pm
Closed on Tuesday (the following day if it is a holiday)
Year-end and New Year holidays (December 28 to January 4)
Individual fee: Adults 600 yen, high school and university students 400 yen
Groups (20 or more people): Adults 540 yen, high school and university students 360 yen
Junior high school students and younger, residents of Osaka City aged 65 and over (certificate required)
Free for those who hold a disability certificate (including one caregiver)
*Special exhibitions require additional fees

Public transportation: Take the Osaka City Bus and get off at the "Babacho" stop.
Subway: Tanimachi Line Higashi-Umeda Station 7 minutes.
