Being the 2nd ranked city in Japan, Osaka surely has a lot to offer.
One of the must go is the Yasaka Namba Jinja, which features a giant lion statue temple. One of the most bizarre yet eye catching religious architecture ever.
Strolling within the city, it’s easy to spot some buildings with copper-made roof, which tend to look bluish after decades of oxidation. My favourite color, yay!
Another place that’s worth checking out is Umeda Sky Building. What people love about this place is the long escalator which looks like rising to the heaven, thus the name “staircase to heaven”.
Though Osaka is huge, if you’re willing to take a slower pace in the exploration, there’s a lot of interesting surprising architecture to discover.
