Want to try Kaiseki cuisine but don't know where to find it?
Hanatagami flower baskets at the Ritz Carlton restaurant in Umeda, Osaka.
It offers kaiseki cuisine, sushi and tempura options.
Kaiseki cuisine, which originated from Zen culture, emphasizes exquisite plating and provides dishes with lighter seasonings. Just like Japanese Fine Dining, it also has requirements for the order in which the dishes are served.
Because the ingredients are fresh, they are all delicious.
In comparison, sushi is quite common.
So if you just want to eat sushi or tempura instead of the whole Kaiseki cuisine,
Tempura is highly recommended.
The waiter's attitude was okay, not the most attentive for a five-star hotel, but although their English skills were limited, they still tried their best to introduce the dishes.
The environment is that you can eat while looking at the Japanese garden. The distance between the tables is not very close, but the privacy is good. You can see other people eating.
