Namba Yasaka Shrine

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck Namba Yasaka Shrine, famous for its giant lion head with a wide-open mouth, is popular among tourists. It’s quite a walk from Namba train station.
There is a belief that the open lion’s mouth will swallow away bad things. The shrine is peaceful but the area is quite small, and they also sell amulets.

How to get there: Get off at Namba Station, Exit 3, then walk 750 meters, or you can take a taxi.

Opening hours: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Free admission.
