Universal Studio Japan

⚡️ Book your tickets fast! Then go all out and have fun at Universal Studios Japan 🇯🇵
We just went to Japan this past February and had the chance to visit USJ for the first time. It was absolutely amazing! If you’re planning to go, I’m telling you, you have to go. The overall atmosphere is fantastic. When we went, it was freezing cold, so walking around wasn’t tiring at all. We chose to go on a Monday thinking it wouldn’t be crowded, but it was still busy as usual, haha! ✨
The lights, colors, and sounds are fully immersive in every zone. Every photo spot is stunning. The staff are lovely, friendly, and entertaining throughout. It was a first visit that left a huge impression on me.
Now, about the must-try rides for us:
* Space Fantasy The Ride: We chose this as our first ride because it was the first one we came across, haha. It’s an indoor roller coaster and was a huge surprise—much more fun than expected. It spins and swings; if you like thrills, you have to try it. I screamed my head off!
* Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey: Just entering Hogwarts Castle is thrilling. The atmosphere feels like you’re really inside the movie. The ride is very realistic, like flying alongside Harry himself. Harry Potter fans will totally freak out.
* Despicable Me Minion Mayhem: This one is simple. The first room is Gru’s lab where they transform you into a Minion. Then you wait in the next room for the ride. At first, I thought the video was a bit long, but it was enjoyable because the Minions are irresistibly cute. The ride is adorable, a 3D experience projected on screens. It’s fun and not scary, suitable for kids and adults alike.
* Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge: Mario fans absolutely cannot miss this. It feels like you’re actually racing with Mario. The graphics are beautiful and sharp. The ride lets you steer the wheel to turn, collect coins and items, and aim at enemies, which you see through AR glasses. It’s so fun you’ll want to play it multiple times.
* Mine Cart Madness (from Donkey Kong Country zone): The new zone is amazing! This was my favorite ride—exciting and thrilling all the way. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting. The ride is a roller coaster styled like a mine cart with realistic light and sound effects, plus splashing water. If you love challenges, you have to try this.
📍Additional tip: For those who don’t want to wait in long lines, I highly recommend buying an Express Pass. It’s super worth it because each ride’s queue can take hours. For example, in the Donkey Kong zone, we waited at least 2 hours, but with the Express Pass, you can walk right in through a special lane and wait less than half an hour.
😍 In summary, USJ is definitely a landmark worth visiting, whether you go with friends, family, or your partner—it’s a blast.
