[Osaka] Kabokusan Taiyuji Temple Part 2

#TravelWithPochiKatsu

The spacious grounds are home to many temples, with the pagoda in particular standing out.
In front of the Daishi Hall stands a statue of Kobo Daishi in his youth.
There are also statues of Tathagata, Acala, and Kannon.

The temple bell was intended for wartime supply donation, but was spared as an exceptional work of art, and it still rings out solemnly to this day.

It seems that Basho also visited here, as there is a stone monument bearing his haiku.

The grave of Yodo-dono, who committed suicide along with Toyotomi Hideyori after the fall of Osaka Castle, is also quietly located at the edge of the temple grounds.

In addition, a section of the grounds enshrines Hakuryu Myojin, and many women visit to pray for love.

The gardens are also beautiful, making this a temple with many attractions.
