Listen to music in a historical building at the "Otaru Music Box Museum" Main Building

Located at the end of Sakaimachi Street, Otaru's main road, this historic building stands out. The clock tower in front of the shop is the landmark of the Otaru Music Box Museum. From souvenirs to antiques, over 25,000 different music boxes are on display and for sale. The building itself is over 100 years old, so just looking at the interior is enough to give you a sense of the extraordinary...or maybe not. There is also a must-see display of incredibly valuable music boxes at the back of the second floor. The prices, which reflect their value, are also a must-see.
