(The photo is from last year.)

The Otaru Canal was a trading hub from the Meiji period to the early Showa period.

Stone warehouses built using the cutting-edge architectural techniques of the time line the canal, and at night, gas lamps illuminate the canal, creating a fantastical landscape.

In winter, snow candles and snow sculptures line the streets, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere.

There are warehouses that have been repurposed as restaurants, but personally, Bikkuri Donkey had the best atmosphere of any Bikkuri Donkey I've been to!

1. Above Asakusabashi Bridge: You can take beautiful photos of the curves of the canal and the warehouses.
2. Along the Canal: You can capture gas lamps, the canal, and warehouses from the foreground.

[Recommended Food🍚]
1. LeTAO Pathos: Fluffy and creamy fromage soufflé
2. Kamaei: Bread rolls, wood ear mushroom tempura
3. Otaru Narutoya: Deep-fried half-shrimp
(The half-shrimp was so delicious, I recommend you try it!)

Admission to the Snow Festival is free.
Please come and visit!⛄️
