Omi Shrine, Chihayafuru

Omi Shrine is a shrine located in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture.

This shrine is dedicated to the 38th Emperor Tenchi. The angle in the first photo looks very familiar, doesn't it?

This place is also famous as a location for the movies "Chihayafuru" and "Detective Conan: Crimson Love Letter". (Actually, that's the reason I went there😅)

The leaves hadn't yet turned much red. It was lively with many people bringing their children for the Shichi-Go-San ceremony☺️

Access: About 7 minutes on foot from Keihan "Omi-Jingu-Mae Station", about 8 minutes on foot from "Minami-Shiga Station", about 14 minutes on foot from JR Kosei Line "Otsukyo Station"
