Omi Shrine, the sacred place of Chihayafuru

Omi Shrine is the sacred place of the popular karuta manga Chihayafuru and the finishing point of Japan's proud competitive karuta.

When I visited during the New Year,
it was the King and Queen match, and the four finalists were posing for photos.

The hakama suits Omi Shrine very well.

There was also a live broadcast, which was very exciting.

There was also a karuta museum, which was fun.
