InterContinental Pattaya Resort

The hotel is situated on a hill, and upon entering the lobby, you'll find an open-air space without air conditioning, yet it feels quite cool. Guests are welcomed with a towel and a drink while checking in. The overall style of the resort is surrounded by palm trees and tropical gardens, creating a strong vacation vibe. After completing the check-in process, staff will escort you to your room via a golf cart. The resort features three swimming pools, a spa, a private beach, and a fitness center.

The room is a twin-bed sea view room with an outdoor balcony where you can relax and enjoy the ocean view. The room is spacious enough for two people, and the beds are soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep. On the day of check-in, it happened to be my birthday, and the hotel surprised me with a cake and balloon decorations 🎈.

The swimming pools are surrounded by trees, giving off a tropical rainforest vibe. There are lounge chairs by the pools for relaxation. However, one of the pools has a depth of 1.37 meters, which felt a bit intimidating for someone of my height, as I had to tiptoe to avoid the water reaching my chin.

Overall, staying here is very comfortable and relaxing. You could spend the entire day at the resort without feeling bored.
