Things to Prepare

- Documents: Bring your valid ID, such as your passport or ID card. Visitors eligible for free admission should bring relevant documents, such as senior citizen cards or disability certificates.

- Clothing: Choose appropriate clothing based on the season. Bring a light jacket in spring, sun-protective clothing in summer, a warm jacket in autumn, and heavy winter clothing in winter.

- Other Items: Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, an umbrella or raincoat, and comfortable athletic shoes. If you plan to hike, bring hiking poles.

Transportation

- By Car: From downtown Chengdu, take the Cheng-Peng Expressway to Pengzhou, then follow the navigation to Danjingshan. The journey takes about 1 hour.

- Public Transportation: Take a long-distance bus from Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station to Pengzhou. From Pengzhou, transfer to a local bus or take a taxi to Danjingshan.

Attractions

- Danjingtai: Located at the mountaintop, this is the best place to enjoy a panoramic view of Danjingshan and the magnificent scenery below.

- Azalea Sea: In spring, the mountain is covered with azaleas in full bloom, creating a sea of flowers and a paradise for photographers.

- Ancient Temple: Danjingshan has several ancient temples, the most famous of which is Danjing Temple, with towering ancient trees and flourishing incense.

- Strange Rock Formations: The strange rocks of Danjingshan come in various shapes, such as "Stone Monkey Watching the Sea" and "Stone Lion Gazing at the Moon," full of mystery.

Food Recommendations

- Pengzhou Douhua: Known for its smooth and delicate texture.

- Pengzhou Beef Noodles: Features a unique spicy, savory, and fragrant flavor.

- Danjingshan Wild Vegetables: A wide variety of fresh and delicious wild vegetables.

Other Tips

- Clothing: Danjingshan has many steps and requires hiking, so wear comfortable shoes.

- Food and Drinks: There are limited food options within the scenic area. We recommend bringing your own snacks and water. You can also try local specialties such as Pengzhou Douhua, beef noodles, and Juntun Guo Kui at restaurants at the foot of the mountain or nearby.

- Environmental Protection: Please protect the environment and do not litter.
