The place is Slurrp @ SS2, a casual eatery that specializes in authentic Sarawak noodles. Walking in, the aroma instantly reminded me of East Malaysian comfort food—simple, hearty, and satisfying.

I tried their kolo mee, and it was excellent: springy noodles tossed in fragrant shallot oil, topped with char siu and minced pork, just like in Sarawak. The balance of flavors was spot-on—not too salty, with the right hint of sweetness from the char siu. The portion was generous, making it a very satisfying meal. What I loved most was how close the taste felt to what you’d find in Kuching, which is not always easy to get in the Klang Valley.
