Phnom Penh Royal Palace Tour

🌳 In Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, there is a royal palace where the king actually resides. However, the king's living quarters are private, and only the other areas are open to the public.

🔮 The palace features a lot of gold, and the golden roofs with their uniquely curved eaves are quite impressive. Being in a tropical region, the vibrant flowers and well-maintained plants blend beautifully with the grandeur of the palace.

🌺 Note that wearing shorts and sleeveless tops is considered inappropriate attire, so make sure to dress accordingly. After visiting the palace, I headed to Wat Phnom Temple.

🦋 Located in the center of Phnom Penh, Wat Phnom Temple was built on an artificial hill, which is said to be the only hill in Phnom Penh. The temple is guarded by statues of multi-headed snakes. Although it’s not a large temple, it has a unique and distinctive charm.
