Exploring Ayutthaya Historical Park

There are many pagodas and Buddha statues in this historical park. Today all that is left are some ruins, but these are in great order and really give you a sense of what it used to be like. The actual ruins are at many different sites and they are all great, and worth a visit if you have a couple of days to spare.

Interesting historical park, old capital of Thailand. It is a little bit far away from Bangkok. The Historic City of Ayutthaya, founded long time ago. You have to pay per monument which is around 50baht for foreigners, or you can get a multi ticket for 220baht for foreigners. For the Thai people it is much less.
