Ruins or art? The historical riches a day trip from Bangkok

I was surprised to learn how easy it is to get to the Buddha head embedded in a banyan tree. Listed as a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and famously advertised by many, this is a great day trip!

Deciding how to get there and back, what we wanted to see, we opted to rent a motorbike in Bangkok and ride it all the way, sightseeing all day. The nearby sights are as spectacular as visiting the never rebuilt ancient city.

🏎 Getting there from Bangkok is as easy as booking a grab ride, riding a motorbike or taking a bus for a self guided tour, alternatively speak to your nearest travel agent for a guided tour.
