Wat Na Phra Meru, Ayutthaya Heritage

Wat Na Phra Meru Ratchikararam, or as the locals call it, "Wat Na Phra Meru", is an ancient temple built during the Ayutthaya period. The highlight of this temple is that it survived being burned down, so the architecture and Buddha images inside are still intact. There is also Phra Kanthararat, an ancient Buddha image in the Dvaravati art style that is a valuable treasure.

How to get there: Take a private car from Bangkok via Asia Road, which takes about 1.5 hours, or take a van from Mo Chit to Ayutthaya and then take a taxi to the temple.
