“Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan”, an ancient temple in Ayutthaya

📍Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan, Ayutthaya Province

Visit this ancient temple in Ayutthaya, home to the large Luang Pho To statue, which people often come to pray for success in business and love. This was our second time here, though, and we loved the tranquility of stepping into the ubosot (ordination hall) and gazing into its eyes.

Next door, there's also a shrine where you can pay respects to the Goddess Soi Dok Mak and feed the fish along the Chao Phraya River.

The atmosphere is wonderful, offering both merit and fulfillment. On important Buddhist holidays, there are chanting ceremonies and candlelight processions in the evening.
