Wat Phra That Cho Hae, a royal temple, is an ancient and sacred temple that holds great significance for the people of Phrae Province. Phra That Cho Hae is the zodiacal relic for the Year of the Tiger. With its history dating back to around 1879 BE (approximately 689 years ago), it is highly revered by Buddhists across Thailand. Additionally, the temple houses Phra Chao Than Jai Cho Hae, a revered Buddha image believed to grant wishes promptly. Around the relic, visitors can offer candles based on their birth day and Lanna-style flags according to their birth year as offerings to the relic.
