Chalong Temple - Phuket

Chalong Temple (also called Wat Chalong), was built at the beginning of the 19th century, it is the biggest and the most visited Buddhist temple in Phuket.

Chalong Temple is located not far from Big Buddha so they can be combined. Numerous temples and gardens however not all were open while visiting but you can take beautiful photos and immerse yourself into the Thai culture and religion, another great thing to do while in Phuket.

There is minimal shade, so bring a hat or an umbrella to block the sun. Also, women must cover their shoulders and not wear skirts or cutoff shorts or they cannot go inside the temples. Men must wear pants and cannot wear shorts inside the temple.
