Baoyensi Temple, officially known as Chixiu Baoyensi Temple, is located in Pingwu County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. It is the best-preserved Ming Dynasty palace-style Buddhist temple complex in China. 🏰 It was built in the 5th year of the Zhengtong reign of the Ming Yingzong Emperor (1440), more than 560 years ago. It is known as the "Palace in the Deep Mountains" because it was designed to imitate the layout of the Forbidden City in Beijing. 🌿

Transportation🚗
- Self-driving: From Chengdu, take the Chengmian Expressway and Pingwu Expressway directly to Pingwu County. The drive takes about 3–4 hours. 🚙
- Public transportation: There are long-distance buses from Mianyang Central Station and Pingzheng Bus Station to Pingwu County, about every half hour. 🚌
