30-Day Event Duration With 24-Hour Entry

The 35th Qingdao International Beer Festival will be held in Qingdao from July 18, 2025 to August 16, 2025. The event duration has been extended from 24 days in previous editions to 30 days, and for the first time the festival will feature a coordinated format among three major venues—West Coast, Laoshan, and Qingdao Old City. This year’s festival, themed "Qingdao Toasts the World," will be comprehensively upgraded with a focus on technology, consumption, experiential activities, and cultural integration, aiming to create a more international and immersive celebration.


A new venue in Qingdao Old City has been added this year. The Dabaodao and Shangjieli districts have planned 20 activities centered on the themes of food, tourism, shopping, and entertainment, including an immersive performance titled "Centennial Film, Centennial Qingdao," courtyard banquets, and a tipsy-themed street area. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy beer while strolling along a century-old street and experiencing the fusion of historic architecture with beer culture.


In terms of recreational experiences, Jinsha Beach Beer City will feature newly upgraded attractions such as a large-scale drone performance, a high-altitude maritime fireworks display, zodiac mascot illumination installations, street performances, art parades, and other distinctive live shows. The central stage of the beer city will host 20 high-caliber performances, and the Phoenix Voice Grand Theatre will offer themed shows daily.


The festival will showcase a record high of 2,300 types of beer from more than 400 brands across over 40 countries, including international brands such as Heineken and Carlsberg as well as a custom exclusive craft coffee beer. Complemented by local delicacies like Chunhe Lou’s crispy chicken and Wangjie barbecue, the event will recreate a traditional dining atmosphere.
