11:00 Walk 15 minutes to the Catholic Church, see the German-style cathedral
13:00 Walk 10 minutes to Yinyu Alley, a trendy gathering spot with many photo ops, a must for the ladies!
15:00 Walk 25 minutes to Signal Hill to overlook the old city, red roofs + green lighthouse = Studio Ghibli-style night view
18:00 After dinner, go to May Fourth Square to enjoy Qingdao’s beautiful night scenery
Day 2
07:30 Watch the sunrise at Xiaomai Island
09:00 Take the subway directly to Shilaoren Beach, perfect for surfing board photos
11:30 Choose and cook your own seafood at Yunxiao Road Seafood Market: 2 jin of female crab + sea urchin steamed egg = so good you’ll need support to walk (150 RMB per person)
13:30 Bike around Badaguan, where ginkgo leaves cover the “European streets,” and stop by the Princess House on the way
15:30 Qingdao Beer Museum, ticket includes a glass of draft beer + beer beans + photo ops at the “Drunken House”

⚠️ Travel tips
Friday high-speed train tickets: Grab “Qingdao Station” at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, don’t choose “Qingdao North,” it’s 15 minutes closer to Zhanqiao Pier.
Female crabs are fattest in November; eat roe from male crabs and yellow from female crabs. You can ship them home via SF Express with free shipping to avoid scams.
Beer Museum stops admitting at 5:00 PM, remember to book in advance; free refills only in the draft beer area.
Sunday return trips after 6:00 PM have fewer passengers, you can buy “no seat” tickets and sit anywhere in empty carriages~
