This time on my Qingyuan vacation, I finally stayed at the long-desired Sheraton Lion Lake, and the Arabian atmosphere is incredibly photogenic! A nine-grid post on social media just isn’t enough, so here’s a share of this exotic vacation guide 🌴
It’s just a 1.5-hour trip from Guangzhou, and the hotel is hidden by the lakeside in Henghe Street’s secret spot. The moment I entered, I was stunned by the domed castle, as if I had traveled to Dubai! Special praise for the service here—front desk Anna contacted me three days in advance to confirm my needs, and I was moved to tears by the birthday setup prepared at check-in (they even gave me an Arabian-style cake!)
🏨 Immersive Arabian Experience
1. Architectural Aesthetics
• The golden dome and carved arches are must-visit spots; I recommend shooting at 4 PM with natural light, wearing a white long dress for better photos
• Hidden shot: Take an overhead shot from the lobby’s spiral staircase to capture the chandelier and dome in one frame
2. Room Details
• All rooms start at 45㎡ with lake-view balconies; next to the bathtub, there are dates and Arabian essential oils
• Family rooms have tent toys, and the first round of the minibar is free (there’s even camel-shaped chocolate!)
🎪 Full Entertainment Guide
• Must for families: Three daily carousel sessions + feeding alpacas at the farm, with a mini train tour on weekends
• Water activities: Recommended to row a transparent boat at dusk to capture the pink sunset reflecting on the lake
• Hidden experience: Book in advance for ethnic costume photos (the headscarves and daggers are super authentic)
🍽️ Arabian Flavors on the Palate
• Breakfast must-try: Freshly baked naan with cantaloupe, and a yogurt bowl with self-serve nuts
• Seafood buffet dinner: Highly recommend Persian-style roasted lamb chops and saffron rice
• Starry sky bar: Order the special "Desert Sunset" cocktail, paired with a shisha experience for full immersion
📸 Photo Tips
• Shoot silhouettes at the lakeside pavilion at sunrise
• Use a wide-angle lens to shoot the central courtyard fountain from below
• Use the breakfast tray on the room terrace as a prop
⚠️ Practical Tips
• Transportation: There’s a hotel shuttle from Guangzhou South Station (reservation required)
• Dress code: Bring your own exotic accessories; the hotel rents costumes but with limited options
• Off-season: March to April offers better rates and fewer crowds
The golf course and fishing area are within walking distance, so two days of fun won’t get boring at all. When checking out, I received a handwritten Arabic blessing card from the butler Dylan—details like this really make you want to come back again and again! Highly recommended for friends who want a short escape from the city without the crowds~
