Qufu Liaohe Ancient Street is a key project in Qufu City called "Lights Along Liaohe." Featuring architecture that combines traditional Ming and Qing dynasty elements with a new Chinese style, it showcases blue bricks, black tiles, flying eaves, and dougong brackets, exuding a charming antique atmosphere and unique architectural style. Both sides of the ancient street offer a rich variety of businesses, including exhibition halls for Confucius Mansion cuisine and Confucius Mansion family wine, experience centers for Hanfu costumes and cultural creative products, as well as flagship stores for coffee, beer, premium beverages, and specialty snacks. It integrates "dining, lodging, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, entertainment, and performances," attracting over 400 merchants to settle in.
The ancient street incorporates the Confucian virtues of benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and trustworthiness. It connects with the "Boat Tour of the Liaohe Sacred Realm" section, which integrates excellent traditional culture with digital light and shadow real-scene technology performances, creating the "nation’s first documentary immersive cultural pilgrimage night tour" project, "Long Admiration for Qufu." Through three large water screen shows, four specially designed bridges, twelve 3D building projections, and fifteen micro-performance nodes, it tells the story of the sacred city and its sages.
The ancient street is open to the public for free and features a 10-kilometer waterfront leisure walkway where visitors can stroll, enjoy the scenery of Liaohe River, and feel the poetic charm of the "spirit of clouds and water." Visitors can also observe local residents going about their leisurely daily lives, experiencing the most vibrant and warm living scenes of the sacred city.
